The Old Drifter (2018)

This documentary follows a 63-year-old retired woman known as one of the 'elderly migrants' who move from their rural homeland to the city where their children live for the family reunion, housework sharing and raising grandchildren. It is about her adaptation and difficulties of her new life in Hangzhou and the journey to her hometown with her two grandchildren before the Chinese Spring Festival.
