Forced to adapt their initial documentary plans at short notice due to the global pandemic, this year’s work from MA Documentary Film graduates at London College of Communication charts their resilience in the face of unprecedented challenges.

Some filmmakers have chosen to reflect on the turbulence of unprecedented times, while others have explored their own personal stories to examine the inner complexities of childhood, or the legacies of family struggles. Others have chosen to journey into the lives of others, producing work that reveals the inner-workings of artistic minds and the passion behind our creative drives.

Together, their work demonstrates the courage and resourcefulness of the next generation of documentary filmmakers.
